AS 2047 Performance Testing — Selected Configurations
Selected JL aluminium window and door configurations have been tested against relevant AS 2047 performance requirements and applicable AS/NZS 4420 test methods. Published information is limited to useful performance outcomes; full laboratory documentation and commercially sensitive details remain private.

Published values apply to the specific tested configurations. Final project suitability should be confirmed against the required product size, configuration and project documentation.
Performance Areas
Wind / Deflection
Selected tested systems achieved serviceability ratings from N4 to N6 depending on the tested configuration.
Air Infiltration
Air leakage performance is assessed at nominated pressure conditions and varies by product type and configuration.
Water Penetration
Selected configurations achieved compliant test results at 200 Pa, 350 Pa and 600 Pa.
Australian Standards & Project Requirements
Window and door selections should be reviewed against applicable project plans, energy reports, National Construction Code requirements and relevant Australian Standards. AS 2047 addresses windows and external glazed doors in buildings, while glass selection and installation may also involve AS 1288.
Detailed supporting documentation can be reviewed for appropriate project verification where required, subject to scope and confidentiality.
Thermal Performance
Structural, air and water performance is separate from thermal performance. U-value, SHGC and visible transmittance depend on the complete frame and glazing configuration. Review JL whole-window performance data, double glazing and thermally broken systems.
